We've always told you that our Ginger and Cinnamon Mix was a product that reminded us a lot of Christmas due to its incredible blend of flavors: cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, raisins, candied orange peel, and almonds.
That doesn't mean it's not one of our favorite blends to consume at any time of day. Just the other day, we thought about making some bars at home to take with us to the gym and quickly regain energy.
We went into the kitchen and boom! The magic happened: some amazing energy bars.
Here we go, we'll give you the recipe! 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 cup of Ginger and Cinnamon Mix
- 1 1/2 cups toasted oats
- ¼ cup of peanut butter
- ¼ cup of honey
- 200g of Medjool dates
Preparation
- In a saucepan, gently heat the peanut butter and honey. Stir well.
- Process the dates in a food processor and mix them with the peanut butter and honey.
- Mix all the ingredients evenly and place on a baking sheet. Press the mixture down well and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
- We cut 6 to 8 pieces and wrap each one in baking paper so we can take it to the gym, office, or work. Ready!
